Good morning, Penelope. I was very interested in reading your comment and I am not surprised at all that our lives are almost alike. It is an honour for you to seize every opportunity to live an intense and exciting life but an even greater honour to admit that there are things you find difficult to realize no matter how much you want to do so. Even if you win, you risk putting yourself under pain that might be stronger than normal, ending up with more losses than gains all the time.
If not sounding melodramatic with yesterday’s post, I hope that my example gave a message to all of you. Here is what I want to say: when you need to ask for help while you are destined to reach a certain point in your life, it is good to know that everything begins and ends in you. There is no point in asking your friends and acquaintances for the answers you are looking for, since it is one thing to make a conversation and exchange opinions and another thing to hang on everyone’s lips in order to make a decision.
We are the ones who make the decisions, because we are the only ones who can succeed in making a compromise between what we want and what we can offer ourselves. Our self leads us always to our most important needs. So, if you (Penelope) believe that it is necessary to climb mountains and roll on lush green valleys, nobody has the right to say that you are wrong or insane. You are the one who will find the way to achieve things that are as important to you as your own life. You might never have exactly the kind of life you want but you can definitely have something that is very similar to what you dream.
